Reset
The Expatriate
Wanderlust. A typical description of any wandering protagonist is their lust to discover. The catharsis they wish to find in a discovery yet unseen. A protagonist chases the unknown, through plot and circumstance, through the depths of our imagination, until he finds the dragon to be slayed. Moving is very much the opposite of this classical journey, a story of a perpetually fleeing main character, followed by friendships turned to dust and side-plots so conveniently forgotten. You live and you wish for the day when you will have to move once more — think to yourself, “maybe not this time”.
The urgent need for a healthcare reset
“When a person is healthy, they’re not in pain. If they are in pain, something’s wrong. Unless you’re a person with a uterus, in that case pain is extremely normalized.”
Swedish police and football supporters: A relationship without future prospects?
With a total of 2.6 million attendees in 2019, it is hard to argue against the fact that Allsvenskan, the top tier men’s football league in Sweden, is one of the most popular cultural phenomenons in Sweden. Even though the league itself is ranked 23rd in Europe according to the UEFA league ranking, fans are still flocking to the stadiums, which is especially apparent as post-pandemic attendances are reaching higher levels than ever. Even an uninitiated eye can see that the reason for people going to watch these games are not due to the world quality football being played. So why is it that with attendances being at an almost all-time high and fans not having been able to go see football live for over a year, the Swedish police want to introduce crowd reductions and restrict the use of flags and other expressions of fan culture?

The term “sustainable finance” is popping up everywhere in the financial news, during our lectures, and even in the discussions you overheard in the corridor, but what is it really?
How i reset my shopping habits
Confession time, I’ve always been a bit of a shopaholic. Maxing out my bank account or having to do transfers from accounts with other purposes, or having to do some very reactive cooking at the end of the month, are things that I’ve experienced a couple of times. Now that I’ve lived on my own for a bit over a year I’m well on my way to becoming a better shopper. I still have some way to go but I’ve come up with a few strategies to shop better and less.
A world without money
As much as money mediates, ironically, it becomes the very source of inequality in the first place. Now that there is no money, there should be no inequality, right? Okay then, what about the former? How would resources be distributed?
