One summer’s week; a festival, a stranded friend, sunny rain, a chair, the sea, Mimmi and a man in hiding.
It sparkles so beautifully in the stream,
it chirps of joy in the willow.
I lie here like in a lazy dream,
embraced by mother nature’s pillow.
The song, the scent, it shines and beams
from the earth and sky and everything around me where I lie.
It is as though the wind carries a message for me
of happy days that soon will flee,
my blood is afire, I think I'm in love
- darling, in who? - in everything that breathes above.
I wished for everything of heaven and earth
to lay close to my heart in the shape of my love,
for all it’s worth.
